Who am i?
My interest in dogs didn’t start as a business — it started as an obsession.
From a very young age, I was completely drawn to them. That only intensified in my late teens, when I began rescuing and working with Dobermans. Since then, I’ve owned and trained a wide range of breeds, including American Staffordshire Terriers, German Shepherds, and Belgian Malinois — giving me real, hands-on experience with different temperaments, drives, and behavioural challenges.
My professional journey began over 11 years ago while living in Italy, where I trained consistently with Giuseppe — a highly experienced police dog trainer. Over several years, I worked closely with him and his network of Italian police dog handlers, building a solid foundation in obedience, protection work, and real-world application.
That’s where everything shifted. What started as a strong interest became a full commitment. I became deeply invested in understanding how to communicate clearly with dogs — not just in theory, but in a way that holds up in the real world.
After returning to the UK, I was mentored by an exceptional police dog handler and canine psychologist. Training every Saturday under his guidance, I developed advanced skills in tracking, article search, high-level obedience, and protection work.
Through his work dealing with fatal and high-risk dog attack cases across the West Midlands and surrounding areas, I was exposed to situations and outcomes that most trainers simply don’t encounter. That level of access gave me a clear understanding of how serious behavioural issues develop — and more importantly, how they can be prevented or resolved when handled correctly.
That experience has had a lasting impact on how I approach training. It reinforced the importance of clarity, structure, and responsibility — not just for the dog, but for the owner as well.
Alongside this, I’ve spent years exploring multiple disciplines — working with agility trainers, gun dog trainers, competition obedience handlers, scent work specialists, and tracking and working trials trainers. Not because I had to, but because every aspect of dog training genuinely interests me.
That broader exposure matters. It means I don’t rely on a single system or fixed way of thinking. I take what works, apply it clearly, and build training that fits both the dog and the owner in front of me.
Over the years, I’ve continued to learn from top-level trainers and refine my approach. I don’t believe in standing still in this industry — because dogs don’t.
My focus is simple: clear communication, real-world reliability, and giving owners the skills and understanding to handle their dogs with confidence — not just in training, but in everyday life…
…so you can handle your dog with confidence in any situation, and actually enjoy living life together. Being able to pass on what I’ve learned, and see that transformation in both dog and owner, is what drives everything I do.
